What is the Pomodoro Technique?
Developed in the late 1980s by Francesco Cirillo, the Pomodoro Technique splits work into focused intervals — usually 25 minutes — each followed by a short break. The name comes from the tomato-shaped kitchen timer Cirillo used as a student. Want the full story? Read our guide on the Pomodoro Technique.
